The Chief Physician of the European Dental Center Confirmed as an Expert of the German Association of Oral Implantologists DGOI

On November 26, 2021, the Chief Physician of the European Dental Center, Dr. PhD., DGOI expert, honorary member of DGOI, BDIZ EDI member Vadim Georgievich Klimentyev, successfully passed certification and confirmed the title of Expert of the German Association of Oral Implantologists DGOI.

As part of the certification, clinical cases of tooth implantation using the Minimally Invasive Implantation Method (MIMI), which is applied at the European Dental Center, were presented to the German expert commission.

MIMI (Minimally Invasive Tooth Implantation Method) – is an innovative implantation method, also known as "flapless" implantation, representing a modern approach to replacing lost teeth with minimal tissue intervention.

This provides patients with a number of advantages:

  • Minimal Trauma: The method provides the opportunity to restore teeth by implanting implants without the need for large incisions or gum lifts,
  • Reduced Volume of Associated Procedures: Allows avoiding additional operations such as sinus lifting (bone tissue augmentation) in most cases,
  • Rapid Rehabilitation: The method reduces the risk of complications, accelerates the healing process, and shortens the recovery time.
  • Aesthetics: Reduced swelling and rapid healing allow for crown placement within 2-10 days.

The key principles of minimally invasive implantation include:

  • Use of Special Tools and Technologies: This technique widely utilizes tools and technologies such as navigation software for precise implant positioning, specialized surgical instruments for minimal tissue impact, etc.
  • Precise Implant Positioning: Modern methods allow precise planning and determination of the implant location considering anatomical features and functional requirements.
  • Minimal Damage to Surrounding Tissues: Minimally invasive implantation aims to minimize damage to the gums, bone tissue, and other structures, promoting faster healing and reducing discomfort for the patient.
  • Use of Sutureless Protocols: In some cases, sutureless techniques are employed to minimize trauma and enhance aesthetic results.
  • Individualized Approach to the Patient: Taking into account the individual anatomy and medical history of the patient, an individual treatment plan is developed that effectively combines the principles of minimally invasive implantation.

This methodology represents a significant advancement in dental surgery, making the implantation process at the European Dental Center more predictable, comfortable for the patient, and effective.

Successful completion of DGOI certification once again confirms the high level of professionalism of Vadim Georgievich Klimentyev and his team.

The European Dental Center is a clinic where you can achieve a beautiful and healthy smile using the most modern and effective treatment methods.
